I seriously use these for every D&D game at this point and they've become an essential part of my DM Kit! I've run D&D for brand new players using only these and they were able to easily track exactly what was going on at all times.

When I DM I occasionally feel self-conscious that I'm taking too long to queue things up and my players are getting bored or antsy, and Creature Cubes are the antidote to player boredom (they're also the antidote to my lazy DM prepping). Sometimes I see my players getting too comfortable on the trail, and the Cubes come out. Even when I play virtually, when I need to quickly generate a combat, I can let fate (the Creature Cubes) decide what my players will do battle with.
